As soon as I wake up I will be headed back to school
Another long semester or term papers and drool
People seem to think I’m headed down the perfect track
But the truth is at 19 I already wanted it back
I’m freakin out left and right cause I don’t have a clue
About the things a perfect tracked young student ought to do
My friends will smile at me and laugh at all my fears
But I wish I’d been as smart as them these last couple years
Cause every time I get to thinking bout the world and what
it’s all about it makes me want to stop and shout
That I don’t wanna die
And I don’t wanna find
That all this time I’m living I’ve been living a lie
I don’t wanna grow old
For I may just unfold
That living was the only thing that I never tried
Broken Hearts and broken hopes often lead to broken dreams
But usually these things aren’t quite as broken as they seem
Break your word or break your promise, then you’ve really spoken
Just stay true so you won’t find that everything is broken
Cause every time I get to thinking bout the world and what
it’s all about it makes me want to stop and shout

There’s lots of ways to deal with confusion in your life
You can wreck your car and even score a DUI
But I suggest more simple answers for that question “WHY!?”
Worrying will tell you lies! So, stop and you’ll be fine!!!
